Description
Prés de Vous is a short documentary directed by Line Debbiche and Camille Lamblot.
They went out to meet the inhabitants of the Prés-de-Vaux district to try and capture their daily lives, as well as their points of view on this still little-known neighborhood. The idea was simple: to paint a portrait of the area, trying to get past the past of the neighborhood’s former textile mill without forgetting the importance and influence it still has, even 43 years after its closure.
Through a dynamic montage of testimonials from Carole, René, Christian and Corine, we discover or re-discover a charming neighborhood, as if out of time and often untouched by the hustle and bustle of the nearby city.
The moving shots contrast with the stability of the interviewees’ words and daily lives, and draw us in, as if we were on a stroll together in this corner of greenery between the artistic wasteland and the Malate.
Action
For one day, on Saturday May 4, 2024, the Prés-de-Vaux will host the graphic and sound fair organized by the Juste Ici, Superseñor and 3615 Señor associations.
On the program: activities and artistic projects to discover with family and friends, inside and outside a 19th-century Bisontine paper mill house currently being refurbished to welcome artists.
