Description
Charlotte Belztung was in residence this year at two of the region’s high schools (the Lycée de Lure and the Lycée Viticole de Beaune) with the intention of creating a set of clay pieces with the students, which were used at the Bien Urbain launch party. It was also an opportunity to build an ephemeral ceramic kiln, which burned completely during the day to fire amulets, offered to the public during the festival.

Biographie
Her artistic work is guided by encounters with people,
landscapes, plants, animals or stones. Her work is rooted in the solid, physical element of the Earth, and is inspired by bodily experiences.
Her creative process aims to bring the objects she creates to life by energetically charging them with gesture and intention, to give them power. The finished forms of the objects she creates are important, but so are the steps that inspired them.
