Bien Urbain was happy to bring to Besançon the Unlock Book Fair, an international meeting of publishers, artists and readers.

For this event Unlock worked together with Editions Gasoline to invite a roster of exhibitors that combine Unlock’s focus on international graffiti and street art with a strong local line up of illustration and graphic design publishing projects.

The event was an exceptional occasion to discover a variety of art-related books, fanzines and other printed objects rarely seen in bookstores, as well as to exchange with the publishers and artists behind the projects. Unlock visited Besançon after successful events in Barcelona, Lisbon, Berlin and Moscow. Stay tuned for the main 2018 international Unlock Book Fair, to be held in Amsterdam later in the year.

A friendly summer atmosphere, also encouraged by our mobile crêperie, artisanal printing workshops, conferences given by the publishers and the Survol du Bourdon concert!
