Description
Built with the words of the inhabitants of the villages of Vaudrivillers, Lanans, Servin and Vellevans (FR) that the artist Lena Brissoni had the opportunity to meet, this exhibition-walk crosses the notion of identity, of living and belonging to a place. It settles at the border between the intimate and the public, inside and outside, individual and collective.
Consisting of a mixture of treasures (objects, words, photos and traces past, present and future), it gives value to all simple and common forms that belong to us. You can discover in Lanans (FR), a banquet table carved out of the mass, built by some inhabitants who will recognize themselves: it is the simple translation of a return to the good things.
Through the streets of the villages, you can also see small blue and green signs: Abby, Léonie, Timéo, Baptiste and other children of the villages also had their word to say and put their imagination to work.
Above all, this exhibition is an invitation to get together with your neighbors!
Action
“Idylle, l’envers du décor” is a festival initiated by the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté Region, implemented by the Artdam. This project set up on the community of communes of Sancey-Belleherbe (FR) was deployed by our association and the artist Lena Brissoni, in partnership with the associative café Chez la p’tite Suzanne, the Communes of Vaudrivillers, Lanans, Servin and Vellevans, as well as the sawmill Cuche in Aïssey (FR) and the Club of Lanans.
Biography
To give to see or to do, to use the richness of encounters and travels, such is the instinctive path of creation for the artist Lena Brissoni. Inspired by the material, Lena draws her inspiration directly from her encounters with inhabitants and passers-by, seeking to make them receptive to the beauty of their daily environment and to (re)give them the desire to do things together.
