Description
À la volée is a new project created for Bien Urbain by a trio of artists passionate about radio, editing and sound creation.
They offer in situ performances where the seated audience is surrounded by speakers broadcasting sounds captured and mixed in real time in the surrounding area by the trio, who can be seen recording, disappearing and reappearing…
À la volée offers a unique way to discover public space through sound: the audible/inaudible, but also the visible/invisible.

Biographie
Magnétophonie is a trio of sound creators from Doubs, comprising Chloé Truchon, Olivier Toulemonde and Aurélien Bertini.
Aurélien Bertini and Chloé Truchon worked together for many years at Radio Campus. During the fifth edition of Bien Urbain, they also designed an urban cabin as a sound machine that records stories: Sonomation.
Olivier Toulemonde has musical training in various instruments and has performed in concerts in the past, before focusing on ‘sound’ as Magnétophonie understands it.
This is not the first year that the Besançon artist has participated in Bien Urbain; his installation made entirely of pipes was featured at the 7th edition of the Bien Urbain festival: Conduites.
